2024-05-16 Changes in the composition of the Management Board of mBank Hipoteczny

As of 15 May 2024, Krzysztof Dubejko ceased to serve as President of the Management Board. He worked at mBank Hipoteczny in various roles intermittently for 14 years. From 2000 to 2005 in risk area, from 2015 as head of the treasury department, from 2019 he was a Member of the Management Board and from April 2022 its President.

On 18 April 2024 the Supervisory Board of the Bank has appointed Mr Piotr Petelewicz as the Member of the Management Board, effective from 16 May 2024. Mr Piotr Petelewicz will assume the position of President of the Management Board subject to the approval of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.

2023-05-18 Transfer of certain loans to mBank

Update of the information of 31 May 2022.

On 17 May 2023, mBank Hipoteczny transferred some of the mortgage loans serviced thereby to mBank. The majority of those loans were extended as financing for commercial real properties.

The transfer was made by way of the demerger of mBank Hipoteczny, which demerger was effectuated by carving out some of its business operations and transferring them to mBank.

2022-05-31 Planned changes at mBank Hipoteczny

In 2023 mBank Hipoteczny plans to transfer part of mortgages currently under its management to mBank. The majority of these loans are commercial real estate loans.

The takeover will be completed through a division of mBank Hipoteczny by separation and a transfer of the separated part of its business to mBank.

We are pleased to inform that from the 1st of July 2021 the address of the registered office of mBank Hipoteczny S.A. will change and the current address will not be valid. Our new address is: ul Prosta 18, 00-850 Warszawa. Changing the address will not cause any changes in the model of customer service and cooperation with business partners. All provisions in the agreements signed by mBank Hipoteczny S.A. remain in force.

2020-12-09 Moody’s Investors Service upgraded the rating of Mortgage Covered Bonds issued by mBank Hipoteczny S.A. from Aa3 to Aa2

Moody's Investors Service has raised the rating of Mortgage Covered Bonds issued by mBank Hipoteczny from Aa3 to Aa2. The rating of the covered bonds was constrained at the Aa3 level by the „Local and Foreign Currency Country Ceilings for Bonds and Other Obligations Methodology”.

Research agency Sustainalytics has awarded mBank Group with ESG Risk rating at 13.4 points, which represents second best rank among 375 peer banks as of 14 January 2020.Risk score improved significantly vs previous year thanks to strong risk management process and extended transparency.

2019-11-12 mBank Hipoteczny S.A. has launched on euromarket its second issue of 300m euro, maturing in September 2025

The final orderbook in excess of EUR 1bn was characterized by a high degree of granularity with over 70 real money investors participating. The final re-offer spread of +43bps lies inside the estimated fair value level and thus implies a negative new issue concession of around -2bps. The coupon on this long 5 year bond will be only 0.242% - one of the lowest ever to be achieved by an issuer from Poland.

2018-10-26 First assimilation of mortgage covered bonds on the Polish stock exchange

Using the instrumentarium available on the Polish market, mBank Hipoteczny combined a newly issued series HPA34 with the June issue of HPA33 already quoted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In this way, today we obtained a security with a total nominal value of PLN 310m. The assimilation of both series of covered bonds in the depository system will take place in accordance with the Resolution of the KDPW Management Board on October 29, 2018.
