2019-05-27 Moody's Investors Service ratings assignment to the Bank and mortgage covered bonds of mBank Hipoteczny S.A.

 

Moody's Investors Service has assigned rating Aa3 to mortgage bonds issued by mBank Hipoteczny S.A. The ratings of the covered bonds are constrained at the Aa3 level by the local and foreign currency bond ceilings for Poland. This is a rating higher by 2 notches than the Polish sovereign rating and 5 notches higher than the long-term issuer rating which the agency assigned Baa2.

 

Rating agency has also assigned Prime-2 short-term issuer ratings to the Bank. Concurrently, the rating agency has assigned the Bank A3(cr) long-term and Prime-2(cr) short-term Counterparty Risk Assessment (CR Assessment) and A3 long-term and Prime-2 short-term Counterparty Risk Ratings (CRRs). The outlook on the long-term issuer ratings is stable.
